Good Day!

Welcome to my digital garden. Beware it changes often and I will never get around to organizing it. ๐Ÿ‹

Featured Site: Lene Saile
I discovered her site through built at lightspeed because I love looking at what people are doing with 11ty. Her site brings color in a gray world. Her blogs give useful insights into front end developement (I enjoyed her post about CSS grid inheritance)

Current Thought: Aging on the Web
Naz Hamid wrote about the awkwardness of middle age and so has Rachel Kown. We on the internet are getting old. Freshman, naive, 20 year old me believed everyone was younger, smarter, and funnier than me. look at those 14 year olds creating their 7 billion dollar healthcare as a service software while being stand up comedians. Many bloggers then and now are not that young. You can find 80 year olds talking about the jamstack. Thatโ€™s pretty awesome.

โ˜• I no longer work near three coffee shops. Itโ€™s jus Panera. Although the coffee isnโ€™t fantastic, the convience is worth the $15 a month. I have a comfortable place to wait for my coworkers.

G-Man

Beverly Gage

So far the book is ok. I found the parts about Washington DC to be much more interesting than the parts about J Edgar Hoover. The the way DC was built kind of reminds me of where I live. True the town looks

Now

I am tending to my website and trying to do less time filler things. I just made my previous design an 11ty theme, so that's nice. Also starting to read other people's blogs again.

Goals

  1. Read more books. Finish No One Writes to the Colonel
  2. Finish Spanish Pimsleur 2 and maybe hire a tutor? Kind nervous about using Italki
  3. Actually run????
